Looking west from Quinag

Quinag is more of a massif than a mountain, with three distinct tops and a web of ridgelines that link them all, its many sides reveal themselves as you traverse through. From the top you can look north, east and south to more isolated peaks that rise out of the knock-and-lochan landscape. To the west is the sea.
From the JMT cabin, I could see the northern aspects from the front window, so Quinag was my constant companion for the week of residency. One morning I left early to arrive on the first top just as the sun hit the ground, and spent an hour trying to get the colours down, while Lizzie 1 quietly froze next to me (sorry Lizzie!).
